I was feeling fine
I didn't have nothing
on my mind
but today is different
I got the blues
but I'm not always 
bound to lose

life ain't always
really bad
think of all
the fun you've had
I know today
you just can't win
but the good times will
come back again

         I know it's true
         what was good
         will come back to you
         you're trying to cope
         all you need to do
         is not give up hope

things were going good

today's not great
not even just fine
