bad, bad day

today has been a bad, bad day
emergencies have come my way
and I don't know what else to say but
please make it stop
today has been one off unrest
I keep trying to do my level best
life has put me to the test
and I am not on top
I'm down at the bottom
where life is hopeless now
trying to move up from here
but I don't know how
