said and done

if I keep on going
the way that I've been going
there is no way of knowing
what will become of me
maybe luck will find me
and not deaf, dumb or blind me
if I leave it far behind me
just what will I see

or maybe I'll just settle
for the here and now
only problem is
I don't know how
I live between then and what's to come
