when the snow comes
I will be safe and warm
I will have shelter
instead of a storm
now, I don't want you
to be misinformed
I won't be living in luxury
but I'll have food
and I'll be safe
with blankets
and a pillow case
some Irish cream
for me to taste
I won't give a fuck, you see
but I can't stop thinking
about those with no home
those whose next meal
remains unknown
