calm now

I am calm now
I don't know how long this will last
no need for alarm now
the storm somehow has passed
all those emotions
are finally getting rest
from their devotion
to putting me to the test
I try to do my best
and
I am calm now
no longer stranded in the wilderness
I've not no qualms now
although it's anybody's guess
look at the lessons I've learned
I am calm now
but I know my disease will return
