old black dog

I wish I could know
what it's like to be human,
thought the old black dog 


I would be in charge
but I'm not so sure I'd like it
it's a lot of work


responsibility
has never been my passion 
seems overrated


besides...


I am glad to be
a dog, because my whole life
is mostly about love


and food


can't forget food
